Joel Whittington

Joel Whittington is a seasoned Principal Systems Engineer at SAIC, with a career spanning over two decades in systems engineering and development. Prior to SAIC, Joel served as Principal System Engineer, R&D at GPS Source, Inc., and Chief Systems Engineer at Harris Corporation. Joel has substantial experience at The MITRE Corporation as a Senior Systems Engineer and contributed to the integration and verification of DSLAM products as a Consulting Engineer at SBC Communications. Additional notable roles include Senior Development Engineer IV at Alcatel and positions at Harris Corporation, where development and design responsibilities were undertaken. Joel holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in the field.
