Rene Cornejo

Rene "Sleepy" Cornejo is an experienced Air and Missile Defense and Air Control Lead at SAIC, bringing over thirty-two years of hands-on experience with the U.S. Navy and as a government contractor. Having served in the Navy for twenty years and accumulated twelve years in contracting, Rene has developed expertise in Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Air Intercept Control (AIC), and various tactical operations across multiple fleets. Rene's past roles include Operations Specialist and Officer, where they directed operations for Air and Missile Defense for the Battle Force Seventh Fleet and pioneered training programs with international naval forces. They hold an Associate of Arts degree from Central Texas College.
