Luke Hobbs

Luke Hobbs is a skilled engineer with over 15 years of experience in mechanical and mechatronics engineering. Currently serving as a Paper Machine Mechanical Engineer and Mechatronics Specialist at Saica Group since December 2020, Luke previously held the position of Field Service Engineer at National Oilwell Varco, where responsibilities included installation and commissioning of equipment as well as maintenance of drilling machinery. Earlier experience includes working as a Mechanical Technician at UPM, focusing on corrective and preventative maintenance and supporting shop and onsite operations. Luke completed an NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance, a Modern Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering, and an HNC in Mechanical Technology at Deeside College, enhancing a solid educational foundation in engineering.
