Secondary Learning Support Teacher at Saigon South International School

Melissa Hooper is an experienced educator with a focus on learning support and special education. Currently serving as a School Representative for SENIA Vietnam and as a Secondary Learning Support Teacher at Saigon South International School, Melissa develops differentiation strategies and supports individual student success. Previously, Melissa held roles at Pechersk School International and Lethbridge School District 51, where responsibilities included coordinating Individual Learning Plans for IB diploma candidates and supervising Educational Assistants. Melissa began the educational career as a Math, Science, and Language Arts Teacher and has held positions in academic advising and distance learning coordination. Currently pursuing a Master of Education in Administration of Special Education, Melissa also holds two other Master's degrees and two Bachelor's degrees in education and fine arts.
