Cristina Pop has a diverse range of work experience in the field of communications and journalism. Cristina began their career in 2009 with work experience at BBC Mundo, where they wrote news articles and analysis reports. Cristina then moved on to El País, where they worked as a journalist trainee, producing video reports and winning the prestigious Ortega y Gasset Award for Online Journalism. Cristina also had a brief stint at AFP as a journalist before joining the European Parliament for a Robert Schuman Traineeship. Cristina then worked at La Vanguardia as a journalist, managing and editing written and audiovisual content for the website. In 2016, Cristina became the Director of Content at Código Nuevo, overseeing a team and contributing to the growth of the platform. Cristina later founded their own ventures, including La Ikiguía, where they were a founder and presenter, and La Belepop, where they combined their passion for positive storytelling with communication and specialized in copywriting, content marketing, and social media. Currently, Cristina holds the position of Global Content Manager at Saigu Cosmetics.

Cristina Pop has a diverse education history. In 2003, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. In 2007, they pursued an Erasmus scholarship program at Université Paris-Est Créteil (UPEC), where they completed a Master of Political and Public Communication in France and in Europe. In 2008, they obtained a Master's degree in the School of Journalism UAM - El País from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. The following year, they received a Seneca Scholarship for Journalism at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos. In 2018, they completed a Master's degree in Development Personal and Leadership from Borja Vilaseca Institute. In terms of additional certifications, Cristina obtained an IELTS certification from the British Council in March 2011, and a DALF certification from the Centre international d'études pédagogiques (CIEP) in February 2009.
