Alex Viray

Alex Viray has over 10 years of work experience in a variety of roles. In 2009, they began their career as a Patent Strategy Clerk (Intern) for IPLOFT.com (Fernandez & Associates LLP). Alex then worked as a Production Chemist for Life Technologies from 2010 to 2011, followed by a role as a Technical Marketing Engineer for Unigen from 2011 to 2013. Alex then worked as a Product Specialist for Military Sales & Service from 2013 to 2014, and a Pharma Informatics Consultant to Roche/Genentech for CyberCSI from 2014 to 2015. Alex then held a Technical Advisor - IT role for Basix Consulting and Design from 2015 to 2016, followed by a System Engineer role for TekLeap - Information Technology Solutions from 2016 to 2017. Alex then worked as a Global Account Manager and Regional Account Manager for Cogent Communications from 2017 to 2021. Alex is currently employed as a Sales Engineer for Sail Internet since 2021.

Alex Viray obtained a BS in Electronic Engineering from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo from 1988 to 1993. In 2008, they obtained a Professional Certification in Nanotechnology/Clean Technology from the California Institute of Nanotechnology. From 2009 to 2010, they obtained a Certificate in Biotechnology from San Jose Biohealth College. Additionally, Alex Viray has obtained several certifications, including a CCNA: Enterprise Networking, Security, and Automation from Cisco in June 2022, a CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials from Cisco in June 2022, a Data Center Associate from Schneider Electric in June 2021, and a CCENT from Cisco.
