William Shanarov

William Shanarov is the current Chief Technical Officer at SailPlay. William has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, including seven years at SailPlay and two and a half years at OZON.ru. At SailPlay, Shanarov has held various positions, such as CTO, VP of Engineering, and Team Lead. In these roles, they have been responsible for managing IT teams, improving development processes, optimizing the development lifecycle, planning and product strategy, team members training, developing new products, IT recruitment, budgeting and cost optimization, working with external agents, migrating all platforms from AWS to own bare metal infrastructure, developing an analytical platform, building a monitoring system, and scaling fast-growing service fault tolerant infrastructure. Prior to their work at SailPlay, Shanarov was a full-stack developer at Scrumdo for seven months and a freelance full-stack developer for one year. William also worked as a software developer at Melentiev Energy Systems Institute Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences for two years. Shanarov has a wealth of experience in the IT field and is an asset to any company.

William Shanarov graduated from Irkutsk State Technical University in 2012 with a degree in engineering.
