The Research Team at the Sainsbury Wellcome Centre for Neural Circuits and Behaviour is dedicated to investigating how neural circuits in the brain drive fundamental processes underpinning behaviour such as perception, memory, expectation, and decision-making. Comprised of roles such as Research Technicians, Research Fellows, Senior Research Fellows, and Research Assistants, the team conducts multi-disciplinary research in collaboration with the Gatsby Computational Neuroscience Unit (GCNU), utilizing advanced computational models and experimental techniques. Their work aims to generate new theories to explain various cognitive and behavioural functions, contributing significantly to our understanding of brain function and its societal implications.
