Andrew Service

Andrew Service is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in audit, risk management, and resilience. Currently serving as the Director of Group Audit, Risk and Resilience at Sainsbury's since March 2024, Andrew has held significant roles at Currys plc as Group Director of Internal Audit, Risk and Insurance, and Group Director of Internal Audit. Previous positions include Group CEO Business Manager and Head of Internal Audit at Dixons Carphone, as well as Head of Group Risk and Business Risk Manager at Which?. Andrew began a career in risk assurance at PwC, progressing from Audit Senior in the Cayman Islands to Risk Assurance Manager in the UK. Andrew holds a BA (Hons) in Business Accounting and Finance from Newcastle University, completed in 2007.
