Cody Welch is an experienced brewing professional with a diverse background in the craft beverage industry. Currently serving as a Brewer at Saint Arnold Brewing Company since May 2022, Cody is responsible for brewing, cellar management, and overseeing the barrel program. Prior to this role, Cody held the position of Head Brewer at Freetail Brewing from September 2018 to May 2022 and worked as a Production Specialist at Fullsteam Brewery from September 2014 to September 2018. Earlier experience includes a role as Packaging Specialist at Pedernales Brewing Company and multiple positions at Kerrville Hills Winery, where responsibilities included winemaking, graphic design, and wine consulting. Cody began a career in the service industry with internships and roles in promotions and general staff. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design from Schreiner University and a brief study at Universidad del País Vasco.

Saint Arnold Brewing Company, located in Houston, is Texas' Oldest Craft Brewery. Our goal is to brew world class beers and deliver them to our customers as fresh as possible making them the best beers in Texas. Our customers are beer lovers - people that appreciate great, full-flavored beers. Our crew does everything at the brewery: brew the beer, filter the beer, keg the beer, bottle the beer, sell the beer and drink the beer. For us, this is a passion, not a job. We believe that this comes through in the beers we make. Our beers have soul. We brew several different beers; some are year round, some are seasonal, some are special release, and a few are single batch brews.
