Mary Austin is a dedicated educator and researcher with experience as a 5th Grade Social Studies and ELA Teacher at Saint Columbkille Partnership School since July 2022. Previously, Mary served as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at Boston College Lynch School, focusing on the educational challenges faced by English Language Learners during the COVID-19 pandemic. Mary also gained teaching experience as a Student Teacher at Saint Columbkille Partnership School and completed an internship at Rudman Winchell, where tasks included client assistance and office management. Additionally, Mary worked as a Receptionist at Sutherland Weston, where communication and client interaction were key responsibilities. Mary holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Boston College Lynch School (2022-2024) and a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education and History from Boston College (2018-2022).

Saint Columbkille is the only preschool to Grade 8 laboratory school in Boston.
