Kathryn Pereira has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Starting in 2007, they worked as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at North York General Hospital. Kathryn then transitioned to the University Health Network, where they served as a Registered Nurse in Cardiovascular and Vascular Surgery. During their time there, they also worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse Educator in Medicine. In 2012, Kathryn joined Mackenzie Health as a Patient Care Coordinator in Telemetry/CCU. Kathryn later became a Nurse Manager, overseeing Telemetry and then taking on the role of Professional Practice Leader in Nursing. In 2014, they joined Health Sciences North/Horizon Santé-Nord as a Critical Care Nurse. Simultaneously, they worked at Laurentian University as a Professor, Clinical Instructor, and Academic Advisor, and at Cambrian College as a Part-time Professor. Most recently, Kathryn has taken on the role of Clinical Director at SE Health starting in 2023.
Kathryn Pereira completed a Master's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse at Trent University. Kathryn then went on to pursue a Master's Degree in MScN at York University from 2007 to 2010. Most recently, they obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business from McMaster University between 2019 and 2021.
