Kiran Govind has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and roles. Starting in 2009, they began as an Informatics Analyst in the Informatics department at Mount Sinai Hospital, Toronto. In 2010, they worked at Saint Elizabeth Health Care as an eProduct Coordinator for Learning Solutions. Later in 2010, they moved to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre as a Corporate Trainer in Information Technology, and then became a Project Lead in Information Technology from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Kiran joined Cancer Care Ontario as a Lead for Cancer Screening, where they led large-scale projects and managed provincial operations. In 2017, they transitioned to SE Health and held various roles, including Engagement Manager in Digital Health, Group Manager in the Digital Transformation Office, and finally, Director of Strategy and Enablement. Currently, they are an Executive Board Member at Access Alliance Multicultural Health and Community Services, starting from 2019. Throughout their career, Kiran displayed strong leadership skills, strategic thinking, and a commitment to improving healthcare systems.
Kiran Govind has a Master of Health Science (MHSc) in Health Administration from the University of Toronto. They also have a Bachelor of Health Administration (BHA) in Health Service Management from Ryerson University. Additionally, Kiran has a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Honours Physics from the University of Waterloo. They have obtained certifications in Crucial Conversations and Influencer from VitalSmarts, as well as a Certified Health Executive (CHE™) certification from the Canadian College of Health Leaders.
