Bola Yoon

Bola Yoon is a Senior Research Engineer specializing in additive manufacturing at Saint-Gobain since May 2022, focusing on ceramic, refractory, and composite processes and conducting research on industrial decarbonization. Previously, Yoon served as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, where expertise in additive manufacturing of ceramic materials for high-temperature applications was developed, alongside optimizing manufacturing processes and performing mechanical testing. Yoon's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Materials Science from Pusan National University. Earlier research contributions include the development of SiC fiber-reinforced composites at the Korea Institute of Materials Science, where various synthesis processes were patented and characterized.
