Laurence Pernot

Laurence Pernot is the current Director of Communication at Saint-Gobain. Prior to this, they served as the Vice-President of Communications for AREVA North America and the Conseil General de Loire-Atlantique. In these roles, they were responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, managing teams of communications professionals, and fostering relationships with key stakeholders.

Pernot has a long history of working in communications and public relations. Laurence began their career in 1993 as the Vice-President of Communications for the Conseil General de Loire-Atlantique. In this role, they were responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies for the regional governing body. Laurence also managed a team of communications professionals and fostered relationships with key stakeholders.

In 2001, Pernot moved to AREVA North America, where they served as the Vice-President of Communications. In this role, they were responsible for developing the AREVA brand and awareness for the American market. Laurence also worked to unify the North American entities and work as one AREVA team. Pernot developed an offensive communication strategy, based on an innovative digital approach and strong relations with grassroots organizations and movements. Laurence also managed a team of 30 people.

Laurence Pernot received a BA in Theirtory and American Anthropology from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne. Laurence then went on to receive a Master's degree and Ph.D in the same field from the same school.

Laurence Pernot works with Noémie Chocat - Director of Strategy, Ursula Soritsch-Renier - Director of Digital & Information Systems, and Antoine Vignial - Secretary General. Their manager is Benoit Bazin, CEO.
