Nathan Chaffee

Nathan Chaffee is an experienced educator currently serving as a Physics Teacher at Saint Ignatius High School since August 2018, where the focus is on fostering critical thinking in students through physics concepts. In addition to teaching, Nathan is the head coach of the Saint Ignatius FIRST Robotics Team and assists with the Science Olympiad team. Previously, Nathan worked as a Science Teacher at Warsaw Community Schools, inspiring students in physics and chemistry from August 2016 to July 2018. Earlier in their career, Nathan was an Education Specialist at the Great Lakes Science Center, where responsibilities included teaching LEGO Robotics camps for children in grades 4-8. Nathan holds a Master of Arts in Science Education from Ball State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Astrophysics and Music from Ohio Wesleyan University.
