Terra Caputo

Terra Caputo is an experienced educator currently serving as the Director of the Center for Ignatian Pedagogy and English Teacher at Saint Ignatius High School since May 2012. In addition to this role, Terra holds the position of English Department Chair. From May 2018 to March 2024, Terra contributed to the Jesuit Schools Network as Adjunct Faculty for Seminars in Ignatian Leadership. Prior experience includes serving as Director of College Writing and Assistant Professor at Allegheny College from August 2008 to August 2012, and various teaching positions at the University of Miami and Florida International University. Terra's educational background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in English and a Master of Arts in English from the University of Miami, as well as a Master of Science in Educational Leadership and Administration from Creighton University. Undergraduate studies were completed at Allegheny College, earning a B.A. in English and Psychology.
