Kayla Pike

Kayla Pike is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in journalism and public relations. Currently serving as a Senior Communications Specialist at Saint Joseph Mercy Health System since February 2022, Kayla previously worked as a Reporter for the Livingston County Daily Press & Argus, covering judicial, breaking news, and first responders. Additional experience includes freelance writing for the Detroit Free Press, managing Gannett newspaper websites as a News Producer for the Lansing State Journal, and reporting on significant issues for Medill Reports. Kayla's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Journalism from Northwestern University and a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Public Relations from Madonna University, complemented by a minor in Political Science and International Relations.
