Karen Harrigan

Karen Harrigan has extensive experience in the financial aid field. Karen is currently working as the Associate Director of Financial Aid at Saint Joseph's University, where they evaluate student eligibility for state grant programs, manages a team of financial aid counselors, and oversees the student loan process. Prior to this role, Karen worked at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia as an Associate Director of Financial Aid and an Assistant Director of Financial Aid. Karen also had a temporary role as a Financial Aid Specialist during a transition phase. Before their time at the University of the Sciences, Karen held various positions at La Salle University, including Associate Director of Financial Aid, Assistant Director of Financial Aid, Financial Aid Counselor, and Assistant Bursar. Karen began their career as a Teller Customer Service at Citizens Bank and completed an internship in Foreign Military Sales at the Department of Navy. Karen has a strong background in financial aid administration and has gained expertise in areas such as federal loan processing, scholarship management, and student counseling.
