Rafael Hernandez

Rafael Hernandez is an experienced educator and scientist, currently serving as a Full-Time Faculty member at Saint Louis Community College-Forest Park Campus since August 2022, teaching Introductory Biology and Microbiology. Previously, Rafael held various adjunct faculty positions at STLCC Wildwood Campus and Maryville University, focusing on biology and life sciences courses, as well as serving as a Biotechnology Program Coordinator at St. Louis Community College. Rafael has a background in laboratory science as the Technologist Laboratory Lead for the American Red Cross and has worked as a QC Scientist at Sigma Aldrich and a Scientist at Monsanto. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Molecular Biology from Hunter College, a Master in Teaching from Lindenwood University, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Interamerican University of PR.
