Marissa Ellis is a School Partnership Program Clinical Therapist at Saint Louis Counseling. Marissa provides individual counseling and art therapy sessions to students in a school setting, as well as facilitates therapy groups focusing on social skills, coping skills, and mindfulness. Marissa has a background in art therapy, having previously worked with senior adults, children in hospital settings, adults with disabilities, and children attending a Head Start Center. Marissa also has experience in child welfare investigations and job coaching for individuals with disabilities. Marissa holds a Master of Arts degree in Art Therapy/Therapist from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Family Science from Oklahoma State University.
