The mission of the Saint Louis Science Center is to ignite and sustain lifelong science and
technology learning. Named a Smithsonian Institution Affiliate in 2016, the Saint Louis Science
Center features more than 700 interactive exhibits, as well as a five-story OMNIMAX® Theater, 
Boeing Hall and the James S. McDonnell Planetarium.

This team manages cybersecurity education, supports applications, coordinates memberships and promotions, and oversees group sales, while also facilitating special projects and enhancing the Makerspace. Their efforts help to strengthen the Center’s commitment to science learning and community engagement.

Support Services

The Education and Community Engagement team at the Saint Louis Science Center is dedicated to fostering curiosity and a passion for science among diverse audiences. They design and implement educational programs for youth, educators, and the community, ensuring engaging science experiences that promote lifelong learning. Through initiatives like Y.e.s (youth Exploring Science) and targeted outreach, this team cultivates connections with local schools and families, making science accessible and relevant to everyone.
