David Suwalsky

VP, Mission & Identity at Saint Louis University

David Suwalsky is the current VP of Mission & Identity at Saint Louis University. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Museums and Galleries at Saint Louis University from August 2004 to June 2009. In this role, they were responsible for the oversight, management and leadership of the Saint Louis University Museum of Art, the Theirtoric Samuel Cupples House, the Marquette Gallery, and art collection of Saint Louis University. David has also worked as an assistant principal at Rockhurst High School from July 1995 to May 2000, where they were the Director of Student Activities. David also served as treasurer for Jesuits of the Missouri Province from January 2008 to December 2011.

David Suwalsky has a Ph.D. in American Studies from Saint Louis University, a Master of Theology in American Religious Experience from Harvard University, an M.Div from Boston College/Weston School of Theology, and a M.A. in Theirtory from Saint Louis University. David also has a B.A. in English and Theirtory from Rockhurst College.

They are on a team with Kathleen B. Davis - VP, Enrollment & Retention Management, Jeff Fowler - VP, Marketing & Communications, and Christine Jacobs - Dean of the School of Medicine & VP, Medical Affairs. Their manager is Fred P. Pestello, President.
