From February 2016 to February 2024, Jan held the position of Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer at Saint Luke's Health System, where leadership of the legal team was pivotal in facilitating the organization's affiliation with BJC Health System, resulting in the creation of a $10 billion integrated health system. Prior to this role, Jan was a Partner at Foley & Lardner LLP from April 2013 to February 2016, specializing in regulatory and transactional matters for hospitals and health systems, as well as international hospital projects. Jan also served as a Partner at K&L Gates LLP (May 2011 - April 2013), focusing on healthcare-related regulatory issues, and was Deputy Chief Legal Officer at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation from October 2007 to May 2011. Earlier in the career, Jan was a Partner at Squire, Sanders & Dempsey from 1999 to 2007.
