Peter Althausen M.D.

Peter Althausen MD MBA is a seasoned Orthopaedic Traumatologist with extensive experience at Reno Orthopaedic Clinic since 2006. Concurrently, Peter serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and holds several leadership roles, including Director of Acute Orthopaedic Surgical Services at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center and Director of Orthopaedic Trauma at Renown Health. Additionally, Peter contributes to the field as a reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and JAAOS, and serves as Chairman of The Orthopaedic Implant Company. Peter's educational background includes an MD/MBA from Tufts University School of Medicine and the University of California, Davis, and a BA in English from Dartmouth College.
