Mr. Halsted is a Managing Director of Saints Capital Everest and Granite funds. Prior to joining Saints Capital in 2008 as part of Saints’ acquisition of Boston Scientific’s venture assets, Mr. Halsted was a Managing Member at Morgan Stanley Ventures, where he worked from 1987 to 2007. As co-head of the health practice at Morgan Stanley Ventures, Mr. Halsted managed over $300 million of investments in over 40 companies, and was responsible for making growth equity investments in emerging healthcare companies. Before his investment career, Mr. Halsted worked in the medical technology field in the areas of product design and business development for Intermedics Orthopedics and Hexcel Medical.
Mr. Halsted received his MM degree from Northwestern University and his AB degree from Dartmouth College. He also received a BE degree in Biomechanical Engineering from the Thayer School of Engineering at Dartmouth College.
