Aneesh Prabhune

Aneesh Prabhune is an experienced film programmer and consultant in the media industry, currently serving as the lead programmer for the South Asia section at Smita Patil International Documentary and Short Film Festival since September 2021. Since January 2014, Aneesh has been self-employed as a media producing consultant and has been an expert writer for Sakaal Media Group since January 2018, focusing on cinema, TV series, and the media business. Additionally, Aneesh works as a creative producer for Bahaar Mediaworks on various projects, and has contributed subtitles to several films and web series, including projects for NETFLIX and Zee5. Aneesh holds a Master’s Degree in International Broadcasting from Royal Holloway, University of London, and multiple postgraduate certificates in Buddhist studies from Savitribai Phule Pune University, along with a Master of Arts in Mass Communication & Journalism.
