Ren Ito

Ren Ito is a distinguished professional with extensive experience in international law, strategic research, and business operations. Currently serving as Co-Founder of Sakana AI and Senior Fellow at NYU School of Law since 2016, Ren Ito's research emphasizes the strategic implications of sovereignty and international law among Japan, China, and the US, particularly in the context of international business transactions. Ren Ito has held notable positions including Member of The Trilateral Commission, COO of Stability AI, Partner at Solaris Fund Management, and CEO of Mercari Europe, contributing to the expansion of Japan’s first pre-IPO startup unicorn.
