Namrata Sharma is currently the Economic Empowerment Program Manager at Sakhi for South Asian Survivors, a position held since December 2021, after serving as the Economic Empowerment Program Advocate at the same organization until July 2023. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at the Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations from September 2018 to May 2021, and as Sales/Marketing Lead at the Tea Board India in London from April 2013 to April 2015. Namrata also held the role of Project Manager/Patient Liaising at the National Health Services (NHS) in London between October 2009 and December 2011, and worked as Sales Manager at A&S Training & Development Solutions from February 2006 to April 2009. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B) from Hazra Law College, a degree in Buying & Merchandising from the London College of Fashion, and a degree in Political Science Honours from Scottish Church College.

We unite survivors, communities, and institutions to eradicate gender-based and domestic violence, as we work together to create strong and healthy communities. Sakhi uses an integrated approach that combines support and empowerment through service delivery, community engagement, advocacy, and policy initiatives.
