Lalit Verma has held various positions throughout their career. Lalit started at Minda Huf Ltd. as a Tool Design Engineer in 1997. Lalit then moved on to Olympus India Pvt Ltd as an Engineer Vendor Development from 1997 to 1999. Lalit joined Honda Motorcycles in 2001 as a Sr. Executive - Purchasing/Supplier Technical Assistance until 2004. Lalit then worked at Bombardier-Rotax as a Project Leader for a brief period in 2004. Lalit also worked at General Motors India as a Buyer responsible for sourcing chassis parts from 2004 to 2006. Lalit gained valuable experience at General Motors, where they held multiple roles including Global Creativity Team Leader for Brake Systems from 2006 to 2009, Global Commodity Leader for Steering Systems from 2010 to 2011, and Global Commodity Leader for Powertrain Coolings in 2011. Lalit was later employed at Mando Detroit America as the Global Purchasing and Supply Chain Manager from 2011 to 2013. From 2013 onwards, Lalit served as the Chief Executive Officer at Sakthi Automotive Group. Additionally, they became a member of the Board at Detroit Economic Growth Corporation in 2015.
Lalit Verma obtained their B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering from 1993 to 1997. Later, they pursued an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad from 2003 to 2005.
