Jared LaMar is an experienced professional in the life sciences field with a strong background in manufacturing operations and laboratory research. Currently serving as an Associate Scientist at Sakura Finetek USA since June 2018, Jared specializes in producing biological reagents for pathology labs and has hands-on experience with various analytical techniques. Concurrently, Jared has been working at Dendreon as a Manufacturing Operations Associate, focusing on processing immune cells for prostate cancer treatment while adhering to strict SOPs and cGMP protocols. A founding member of the Sigma Pi chapter of Sigma Alpha Mu at UCLA, Jared has also contributed to the iGEM Foundation as an undergraduate researcher, where significant research projects were completed, earning multiple awards for excellence in synthetic biology.
