Valeria C. M. is an Associate Scientist III at Sakura Finetek USA since April 2019, specializing in the development and enhancement of advanced staining reagents for immunohistochemistry and in situ hybridization. Valeria has contributed to the creation of reagents and antibodies that comply with ISO, CE, and FDA standards, while also drafting and reviewing technical documentation. Prior experience includes roles as a MedTech-Scholar at the International Center for Professional Development, Research Assistant III at the Medical University of South Carolina, and internships focused on various aspects of biomedical research. Valeria holds a Postbaccalaureate degree in Research and Education in Biomedical Sciences from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Microbiology from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayagüez.
