April Berthiaume

April Berthiaume has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. April has worked as a Human Resources Director at SAL Community Services since April 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Child Care Resource & Referral of Midwestern IL Director at the same company starting in February 2016. April was responsible for overseeing compliance with state and federal guidelines, developing reports, and implementing evaluation processes.

From June 2008 to February 2016, Berthiaume worked as the All Our Kids (AOK) Early Childhood Network Director at Early Childhood Coalition, where they facilitated collaborations among service providers and developed training programs to support workplace improvement initiatives.

Berthiaume also has experience as an Independent Consultation, where they worked as a Community Partnerships and Evaluation Consultant and an Evaluation Consultant. In these roles, they supported community-based collaboratives in integrating evaluation processes and guided collaborative projects in determining their vision and priority areas. Lastly, they were the Education Coordinator at the Boys & Girls Club of the Mississippi Valley from March 2005 to August 2005. In this role, they planned and implemented educational and recreational programming for youth aged 6-18.
