Rizwan Hussain

Rizwan Hussain is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the insurance sector. As the Managing Director & CEO of Salaam Takaful Limited since March 2018, Rizwan has transformed the company into Pakistan's largest general Takaful operator and its first Islamic Insurtech, championing innovative and sustainable initiatives. Additionally, as an Independent Non-Executive Director at Amana Takaful PLC since May 2019, Rizwan focuses on enhancing corporate governance and managing risks. Prior experience includes serving as Executive Director at EFU General Insurance Ltd from August 2007 to February 2018, where Rizwan oversaw strategic operations and process improvements. Rizwan's career commenced as a Development Officer at EFU General Insurance Ltd in 1991. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Marketing and a certification from the Pakistan Institute of Corporate Governance as a Certified Director.
