A member of the Board of Directors, representing Doha Insurance Company, His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf is considered one of the most important business figures in Qatar and is an active participant in the economic renaissance taking place in the country today, particularly in the real estate sector. HE holds a number of Directorships, including Chairman of the Board of Directors of NBK Holding, Al Wa’ab City, and Doha Insurance Company. HE Sheikh Nawaf is also a member of the Board of Directors in Abraaj Capital, Arabtec, and Samena Capital, as well as the Board of Directors of the Qatari Businessmen Association and Vice President of the German Arab Friendship Society.
He has been awarded the French Presidential Medal and has been bestowed with the rank of Knight in appreciation of his special efforts in promoting commercial relationships between Qatar and France.
