Mohamed Faizal

Mohamed Faizal is an experienced professional in information security and IT governance, currently serving as the Assistant Manager of Information Security at Salama Insurance since January 2025. Previously, Mohamed worked as the Assistant Manager of IT GRC at Watania Takaful and held the position of Senior Officer for IT Security Administration at Al Sagr National Insurance Company, where expertise included firewalls, email security, vulnerability assessment, and ISO 27001. Earlier career experience includes roles as an IT Infrastructure Engineer at Atom Technology and a Senior Information Technology Engineer at ETA FMS, focusing on risk management, incident management, and various IT security operations. Mohamed holds a CIPP/E Mastery Program certification in Data Privacy from Privacy Pros Academy and a Master’s degree in Computer Applications from the University of Madras.
