Rizwan then joined SalamAir, where they have held various roles. Rizwan Ghafoor, started as a Finance Manager from August 2017 to May 2018. Rizwan Ghafoor, then became the Manager in Treasury, Tax & Financial Accounting from June 2018 to April 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Financial Controller at SalamAir since May 2021.
Rizwan Ghafoor, ACA, began their education at Army Public School Malir Cantt, where they completed their Matriculation degree in Science from 1997 to 2001. Rizwan Ghafoor, then attended DHA Degree College from 2001 to 2003, earning a degree in FSC with a focus on Pre-Engineering. Rizwan later enrolled at Karachi University from 2005 to 2007, obtaining a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree. Finally, they attended The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan from 2004 to 2012, where they completed their ACA degree in Accountancy.
