Terri Chin

Terri Chin has an extensive background in various roles within the aviation industry. Terri is currently the Head of Internal Audit at SalamAir since September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Governance Officer at Raya Airways from July 2021 to March 2022. From November 2014 to September 2020, Terri was the Manager of Quality and Compliance International Airport Operations at Emirates Group. Before that, they held the position of Group Head of Quality and Assurance at AirAsia from February 2012 to October 2014, where they were responsible for corporate quality, customer care, continuous improvement, and assurance. Terri also has experience as a Senior Expert - Audit at Deutsche Post from March 2008 to April 2011. In addition, Terri held the role of Regional Head of Internal Audit at AirAsia from 2004 to 2008. Terri began their career as a Senior Consultant at KPMG Malaysia in 2000 and worked there until 2004. Terri's work experience demonstrates their expertise in audit, quality assurance, compliance, and governance within the aviation industry.

Terri Chin has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in International Management from RMIT University. Terri also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics from the University of London. In addition to their formal education, Terri has obtained several certifications including Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design - Green Associate from the US GREEN BUILDING COUNCIL in September 2014, Certified Fraud Examiner from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) in 2010, Certified Internal Auditor from The Institute of Internal Auditors Inc. in 2007, Associate Business Continuity Planner from DRI International (Disaster Recovery Institute) in 2005, and Certified Information Systems Auditor from the Information Systems Audit and Control Association in 2002.
