Jerry Parisi

Jerry Parisi has extensive experience in the education field. Jerry is currently serving as the Director of Special Education at the Salamanca City School District since July 2021. Prior to this, they held the position of Assistant Director of Pupil Personnel Service at the same district from August 2020 until June 2021. From July 2017 to July 2020, Jerry worked as a School Counselor at the Salamanca City School District.

Before joining the Salamanca City School District, Jerry Parisi served as the Principal of Pine Valley Jr/Sr High School from August 2016 to June 2017. Prior to that, they held the position of Director of Guidance & Special Education at Carla Place Middle/High School from August 2014 to October 2015.

Jerry also has experience as a Principal at Veronica E. Connor Middle School from January 2012 to July 2014 and as an Assistant Principal at Grand Island High School from July 2009 to December 2011. Jerry started their career as a School Counselor at Maryvale High School from July 2001 to June 2009 and at West Seneca West HS from July 2000 to June 2001.

Jerry Parisi has a strong educational background in the field of education. Jerry obtained a BA in Psychology from the University at Buffalo in 1998. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained an MEd in School Counseling from the same institution, completing their studies in 2000. In 2003, they obtained a certification as a School Counselor from the NYSED. Jerry Parisi continued their education and completed an MEd in Educational Administration from the University at Buffalo from 2006 to 2008. In 2007, they obtained a certification as a School District Administrator from the NYSED.
