Dylan Harley

Dylan Harley has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Dylan started their career as a Cargo Inspection Supervisor at Port Freeport from February 2011 to April 2014, where they coordinated and supervised the inspection of imported cargo in compliance with regulations. Dylan then worked as a Port Operations Clerk at Ports America from June 2010 to August 2014, where they coordinated and oversaw the loading and discharge of sea-bound cargo.

In 2016, Dylan joined Newport News Shipbuilding, A Division of Huntington Ingalls Industries as an Electrical Engineer I. In this role, they researched, developed, and designed electrical power components and systems for use in Naval nuclear power plants. Dylan also analyzed and solved technical problems that occurred during construction and testing of electrical power systems. Dylan's responsibilities included writing detailed procedures for installation, testing, and maintenance of electric power system components. Dylan was promoted to Electrical Engineer II in October 2018 and continued their work until February 2020.

Dylan Harley obtained a Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus. Following this, Dylan pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical Engineering at The George Washington University, which they successfully completed in 2019.
