Matthew Spear

Matthew Spear is a Technical Sales Engineer at Salamander Solutions Inc. since July 2024. Prior experience includes several roles as a Petroleum Engineer at Oxbow EP, LLC and ESE Operating LLC from June 2022 to July 2024, where responsibilities focused on drilling planning, capital formation, and environmentally responsible gas management through seismic data analysis. Matthew also completed a Petroleum Engineering internship at Bagley College of Engineering in the summer of 2021, working on projects related to geothermal energy potential in Mississippi. Additionally, Matthew has been a dedicated volunteer for Chip's Nation Pediatric Cancer Foundation from January 2017 to March 2025. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Petroleum Engineering with a minor in Mathematics from Mississippi State University, earned in May 2022.
