Udi Salant has a diverse work experience in the field of user experience design and education. Udi is the founder of Salant ID, a product and UX consultancy agency based in Israel, where they help startups, entrepreneurs, and digital teams solve UX issues and define new digital products and services. Udi also specializes in accelerating ventures that address social problems through technology. Udi has worked as a lecturer at Reichman University (IDC Herzliya) since 2018, teaching courses related to user experience. Previously, they taught a full semester course on user experience for designers at HIT - Holon Institute of Technology from 2014 to 2018. Udi also worked as the platform director (product and UX) at Zap Group from 2013 to 2016 and as a product manager at DudaMobile from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, Udi held various roles including web products and UX department manager at Pelephone Ltd. from 2005 to 2011, art director at YellowPages Israel from 2000 to 2005, lecturer at Ruppin Academic Center from 1999 to 2001, and instructor and course developer at John Bryce from 1999 to 2000.
Udi Salant holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management of Technology, Innovation & Entrepreneurship (MoTIE) from Tel Aviv University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2012. Prior to this, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Technology and Design (B.Sc.T.E) from the Holon Institute of Technology between 1996 and 2000, with a focus on Art & Design.
