Salas O'Brien
Vance Breshears is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology design and acoustic consulting. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Salas O'Brien since April 2009, Vance is integral to a multidisciplinary consulting team that focuses on creating innovative spaces across various sectors such as arts, entertainment, and education. Previously, Vance led technical rescue efforts as a Specialist with the San Diego County Sheriff's Search and Rescue and contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the NewSchool of Architecture & Design, developing acoustics curriculum. Vance also founded and led Sound Technology Consultants, providing audiovisual and acoustic design services from 1995 to 2009, and co-established the Dallas office of Acoustic Dimensions in the early 1990s. Vance began a notable career in the United States Marine Corps, serving as an officer from 1983 to 1987, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from the University of Southern California.
