Gytis Taločka

Gytis Taločka has a diverse work experience in the field of frontend development. Gytis currently works as the Lead Front End Engineer at Saldo Bank, where they led the transition from Nuxt.js to Next.js for the landing page. Prior to this, they worked as a Frontend Engineer at Treatwell, contributing to a SaaS platform for stylists and implementing new features, resolving bugs, and providing maintenance support. Gytis also migrated the project from Gitflow to a trunk-based development model.

Gytis also worked at Visma, where they served as a Frontend Developer and was the primary Angular front-end developer for various platforms such as the document management platform, agreement management platform, customer portal and admin panel, cash reconciliation platform, and a mobile app. Gytis also played a key role in developing an in-house design system and performed the responsibilities of a part-time Scrum Master and coach for other frontend developers.

Additionally, they gained experience as a Frontend Developer (Intern) at Visma Lietuva, where they participated in a proof of concept development and worked with technologies such as Agile, Scrum, JavaScript, PhoneGap, HTML5/CSS3/JS, and Bootstrap.

Gytis Taločka completed their education at Vilnius University. Gytis obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from 2012 to 2016. Gytis continued their studies at the same university and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Management Information Systems from 2016 to 2018. In addition, Gytis Taločka obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster® from the Scrum Alliance in March 2017.
