Joseph Sapienza

Joseph Sapienza currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Salem Co-operative Bank since September 2024. Previously, Joseph held various leadership roles at Cambridge Trust Company from May 1996 to September 2024, including Chief Financial Officer, SVP and Controller, Vice President & Controller, and AVP & Assistant Controller. Earlier career experience includes the position of Audit Manager at Family Bank from 1992 to 1996 and Associate Auditor at Baker and Manzi, CPA's from 1990 to 1993. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Merrimack College and furthered education at the New England School for Financial Studies through the Massachusetts Bankers Association in 2010-2011.
