Jon Bagg

Jon Bagg has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Jon is currently the Founder and CEO of Salem Cyber, a company they established in 2021. Before founding their own company, Jon worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, starting in 2016. During their time there, they held various roles including Principal, Senior Associate, Lead Associate, and Associate. Jon'sresponsibilities included advising clients on cybersecurity matters. Prior to Booz Allen Hamilton, Jon worked at Verizon Enterprise Solutions from 2012 to 2016. Jon'sroles at Verizon included Sr SIEM Engineer, Lead Security Specialist, and Affiliate Network Engineer.

Jon Bagg has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical Engineering from Virginia Tech. Jon also holds a Master of Information Technology degree in Telecommunications Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. In addition to their formal education, Jon has obtained certifications as a Splunk Certified Architect and a Splunk Certified Admin from Splunk in August 2016 and February 2016 respectively.
