Łukasz Ostrowski

Łukasz Ostrowski is a Principal Software Developer at Saleor Commerce since 2022. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder of Wyjehau, a platform developed by the community that offers a map of pet-friendly places, pet services, accommodations, and places to take a walk. From 2018 to 2021, Łukasz was the Co Organizer of Wiedza Babel, a series of barcamps in Kraków with the mission of unifying knowledge of designers, developers and business/management sectors. Łukasz also wrote for their blog, Lukasz Ostrowski, in both Polish and English from 2019 to 2021. In 2021, Łukasz was an Independent Technology Advisor and Tech Advisor & Frontend Tech Lead at NoA Ignite Poland, where they led a frontend technology competence, mentored developers, designed and implemented a career/self-development program, and worked with non-technical managers to educate and facilitate technical challenges. From 2020 to 2021, Łukasz was a Fullstack Developer & Project Manager at Mytek Audio, where they created a fullstack kiosk/embedded-like application and GUI for audiophile high quality audio devices. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Senior Frontend Consultant and Senior Frontend Developer at Ideamotive, and a Senior Fullstack Developer at Codibly - Create. Impact. Innovate. from 2020 to 2021. From 2019 to 2020, they were a Senior Frontend Developer at The Software House via Ideamotive. From 2018 to 2019, Łukasz was a Lead Frontend Developer and Javascript Developer at SportsBroker, where they were responsible for a 3-member frontend team, contributed to development processes, and worked on a sports/gambling/stock app written in Angular stack.

Łukasz Ostrowski attended the Uniwersytet Jagielloński from 2013 to 2014, where they studied Computer Science. Łukasz then attended the Akademia Pedagogiczna im. Komisji Edukacji Narodowej w Krakowie from 2014 to 2016, where they also studied Computer Science. Łukasz has obtained four additional certifications, including Motywacja i zaangażowanie from HIGH5 Training Group in 2022, Adventures in Web Animations from Code School, Play with SCRUM from Infolet & Synergy AGH, and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
