Jorge López Mateo

Jorge López Mateo has been working in the software industry since 2004. Jorge started their career as a Software Developer at Global Manufacturers' Services Ltd, which was acquired by Celestica in 2001. In 2007, they worked as a Freelance Developer for an Open Source Company specialized in Business Intelligence. In 2008, they became the CTO and Architect for LITEBI, a startup they founded to develop a SAAS Business Intelligence suite based on Open Source. In 2009, they began teaching at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV). From 2012 to 2021, they worked at Sopra Steria in various roles, including Manager, Project Manager and Scrum Master. Since 2021, they have been the Director of Engineering at Sales Layer, where they are in charge of the Engineering department, developing the product and managing the associated infrastructure.

Jorge López Mateo's education history consists of a PDD from IESE Business School (2020-2021), an Ingeniero en Informática from Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) (1999-2005), and attendance at Lycée Français de Valencia. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications from Microsoft, IESE Business School - University of Navarra, The Open Group, Lean IT Association, AXELOS Global Best Practice, Office of Government Commerce, and Scrum Alliance.
