Vijay Iyer

Vijay Iyer has a diverse work experience starting from 2013. Vijay first worked as a Cloud Architect at IQ Logic, where they designed and built one of the world's first Cloud-based Lighting/Device Control Systems. Vijay then joined nimbus 9, Inc. and helped found the company to rebuild the Cloud-based Lighting system. Vijay wrote the Centralized Cloud Server using NodeJS and Redis messaging.

In 2014, Vijay worked as a Front End Engineer at Peerlyst, and in 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer 2 at Harris Corporation. Vijay also had a short contract role as a Developer at Ideas By Nature.

Vijay's work experience also includes roles as a Day Laborer at PeopleReady in 2017 and as a Contract Developer at Translucen. In 2018, they worked as a Software Engineer at Sales Temperature, where they made bug fixes, changes, and improvements to the retail sales forecasting web application.

Currently, Vijay is working as a Cloud Architect at Patient ForecastER, where they are implementing a Node.js/Angular2+/MongoDB/SQL solution for forecasting hospital patients similar to the Sales Temperature platform hosted on Azure.

Vijay Iyer pursued their Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering from Champlain College between 2002 and 2006. Vijay then furthered their education by completing a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, between 2008 and 2010.
