Maggie Yang

Maggie Yang has a diverse range of work experience. Maggie started their career as a Sales Advisor at H&M from April 2022 to April 2023. Maggie then worked as a Sales Representative at Wizeprep from January 2023 onwards. In March 2023, they became the Vice President of Marketing at ACT YYC. Maggie also worked as a Community Outreach Lead at Future Majority from April 2023. Maggie gained additional experience as a Brand Ambassador at Oppizi and as a Social Media Marketing Intern at VFitter, both starting in May 2023. Currently, they are working as a Human Resources Intern at SalesEra. Prior to their professional experiences, Maggie volunteered as a University of Calgary Tax Program Volunteer in December 2022. Maggie also served as an Orientation Leader and Student Volunteer at Leadership and Student Engagement, University of Calgary from September 2021 onwards.

Maggie Yang completed their high school education at Henry Wise Wood High School from 2018 to 2021. Maggie then went on to attend the University of Calgary, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, with a minor in Math+Statistics. Maggie is expected to graduate from the University of Calgary in 2025.

In terms of additional certifications, Maggie obtained several from various institutions. In June 2023, they completed certifications in "Finance Foundations: Risk Management," "How to Rock an Interview," and "Mastering Communications as a Leader" through LinkedIn. Maggie also obtained certification in "Emergency First Aid with CPR/AED" from the Canadian Red Cross in the same month and year. Prior to starting university, Maggie obtained a certification in "Senior connect - Addictions" from the Calgary Seniors' Resource Society in August 2021.
